In the evenings when I drive up a small laneway off Norton Street in Leichhardt I often see Antonio Intili at work. He has been tailoring in Leichhardt for close to 60 yrs. He appears an elfin figure sitting on his work benchtop late into the evening cutting, stitching and pressing anything from jeans to the finest Italian fabrics.
