George’s passion, innovation and flair for photography have been praised universally by clients and acknowledged within the industry with a number of his images residing in the prestigious National Portrait Galleries of London and Canberra, the National Library of Australia and on a Royal Australian Mint coin for his portrait of Fred Hollows.
In 2017 George had the honour of being invited as Guest Judge for The National Photographic Portrait Prize – NPG Canberra and in 2018 was one of 20 artists commissioned by National Portrait Gallery for it's 20th Year Celebration & Exhibition.
World wide recognition of George's work was highlighted when George was placed first for both Photo District News World In Focus Human Condition Portrait - NYC and Photo District News Best Website – NYC for his George Fetting website as well as multiple finalist for the Spider Black & White Awards USA,
The Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize - NPG London and Travel Photographer of the Year London.
